Currently residing in the city of El Sobrante and employed as an organizer for Teamsters, Monica Pacini spent more than 20 years as a community worker and bilingual aid in the West Contra Costa School District.

Although not musically inclined nor interested in a career in the arts, Pacini loves music and after emigrating from El Salvador as a young girl actually found that music helped her learn English. She would sit by the radio and write down lyrics to understand what they were saying in songs. She has always supported her daughters and students to participate in dance, theater and music, seeing the arts as a powerful tool that can create change. Pacini is hoping to be influential in the upcoming projects for Future Youth Records.
