I am Thabiso Motaung, more known as Renaissance. I am a 19 year-old artist from South Africa. I started producing my own music at the age of 12 and started teaching myself how to master, mix and write. I recorded my first album on my cellphone and you would never have thought.

Many ask me why I call myself Renaissance and I never have a set answer. Just like the actual Renaissance, I am ever changing and evolving for the better. I am an era in and of myself. I am the beginning of something new with the lessons of my predecessors. Renaissance is the past, present and the future.
