Victor Janacua Director
Studio Manager
Victor Janacua is a 35 year veteran in the Recording Studio industry. He got his start at the historic studio Ocean Way Recording in 1989 as a runner. Slowly working his way up the ranks he got a job as an assistant to Bill Botrell during the recording of Sheryl Crow’s Tuesday Night Music Club. After the success of that record, he rejoined the Ocean Way Team where he assisted on many sessions. Soon he began working with famed producer Scott Litt and worked on albums such as R.E.M and Nirvana. He moved to studio management in 2002 at Record One Studios to work with Dr. Dre.
In 2011 Janacua moved back to the old studio now renamed United Recording where he would be there doing the bookings till the studio closed. The new chapter begins when he joined the new team of Silent Zoo Studios as Studio Manager months after where he is today.
